چکیده
Abstract The groundwater in the Rutba-Dhabaa region Western Iraq has been studied using multiple statistical methods. These methods proved successful giving a hydrochemical description of water as an alternative to Piper scheme, and therefore they can be relied upon future studies, whether for or surface water. is hard percentage calcium high, due type rocks incubating that groundwater, represented by carbonate make up Mulussa aquifer study area. According diagram, correlation matrix analysis, cluster principle component hydrogeochemical facies are: Class 1 (Ca 2+ - Mg Cl − SO 4 2- ) where wells (W1, W4, W13, W15, W16, W17, W20) fall within category I (SO Ca rest samples falls V (Mixing zone); Na + HCO 3 ), 2 (Na ); (Mg , K (HCO (Cl respectively.

Identification of the Hydrogeochemical Processes in Groundwater Using Classic Integrated Geochemical Methods and Geostatistical Techniques, in Amol-Babol Plain, Iran
Hydrogeochemical investigations had been carried out at the Amol-Babol Plain in the north of Iran. Geochemical processes and factors controlling the groundwater chemistry are identified based on the combination of classic geochemical methods with geographic information system (GIS) and geostatistical techniques. The results of the ionic ratios and Gibbs plots show that water rock interaction me...
متن کاملApplication of multivariate statistics and geostatistical techniques to identify the spatial variability of heavy metals in groundwater resources
The performance of geostatistical and spatial interpolation techniques for estimation of spatial variability of heavy metals and water quality mapping of groundwater resources in Ramiyan district (Golestan province- Iran) were investigated. 24 spring/well water samples were collected and the concentration of heavy metals (Ni, Co, Pb, Cd and Cu) was determined using Differential Pulse Polarograp...
متن کاملPotable groundwater analysis using multivariate Groundwater Quality Index technique
In the current study, the qualitative status of potable well water was assessed using the groundwater quality index during a course of 4 years (2014-2017). This study was carried out with an aim to monitor the drinking water resources from 12 potable wells on the multivariate analysis basis and for determination of groundwater quality index, the following 13 physicochemical parameters including...
